Terms of use

The ground rules for using helpmeunsub. Plain English, no surprises, because that's the whole point of the site.

In short: helpmeunsub is a free guide that points you to how and where to cancel subscriptions. We're not connected to the companies we cover, and we're not your legal or financial adviser, please always check the company's own current process before you rely on it.

Using the site

By using helpmeunsub you agree to these terms. The site is operated by 100byte in the United Kingdom. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site.

What helpmeunsub is

We're a free, independent signpost. For each company we cover, we gather the cancellation steps, direct links, and things worth knowing before you cancel (like notice periods or retention offers), and lay them out clearly in one place.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any of the companies listed. Their names and brands belong to them and are used only to identify who a guide is about.

We don't cancel for you

helpmeunsub gives you information and links. We never contact a company on your behalf, log into your accounts, or cancel anything for you. Completing a cancellation is always something you do directly with the company.

Accuracy, and why to double-check

We work hard to keep every guide correct and check it against each company's own cancellation pages. But companies change their processes, prices, and rules whenever they like, sometimes without notice.

So we can't guarantee that every detail is complete or up to date at the moment you read it. Always confirm the current process on the company's own site before you act, and treat our guides as a helpful starting point rather than the final word. We're not liable for any loss that results from relying on information here, such as a charge you'd hoped to avoid.

Contributions

If you send us a suggestion or correction through the contribute form, you confirm the information is yours to share and accurate to the best of your knowledge. We may use, edit, or publish it as part of a guide, and we check submissions before anything goes live.

Links to other sites

Our guides link out to company websites and cancellation pages. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, their policies, or what happens once you leave helpmeunsub.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site grows. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
