Most cookie pages exist to explain the tracking a site does. Ours exists to tell you we don't do any.
The short version: helpmeunsub sets no tracking cookies, runs no analytics, and shows no ads. There's nothing following you around, and nothing to consent to.
What we use today
We don't use tracking or advertising cookies at all. We don't run analytics, we don't profile you, and we don't share anything with ad networks. You can read every guide on the site without a single tracking cookie being set.
Your browser may still store ordinary things it needs to display any website, and if you use the contribute form, the form provider may set a strictly functional cookie to make the form work and to guard against spam. Neither is used to track you across the web.
Why we keep it this way
The whole point of helpmeunsub is to be a clean, free, no-strings place to work out how to cancel something. A wall of tracking would go against that, so we've left it out.
If this changes in future
If helpmeunsub grows, we may one day add simple visitor analytics or advertising (for example Google AdSense) to help keep the site free. If we ever do, we'll be upfront: we'll update this page, add a clear cookie notice, and give you the choice you're entitled to before any non-essential cookies are set.
Managing cookies yourself
You're always in control at the browser level. Every major browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies in its settings. Since we don't set tracking cookies, doing so won't affect how the guides work.
