How to cancel Uber One

Before you cancel

• There's no fixed contract, so you can cancel anytime. Your access simply runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
• Expect to be offered a retention discount or loyalty deal to make you stay. If you're sure you want to cancel, stand your ground.
• There may be a notice period, so you can be billed for a short while after you ask to leave. Cancel as early as you can.
• If you subscribed through Apple, Google or another provider, you must cancel with them, not Uber One directly.
• Get a confirmation (on-screen or by email) and keep it as proof of the date you cancelled.

How to cancel Uber One, step by step

1. Open the Uber or Uber Eats app and tap the 'Account' icon.
2. Tap 'Uber One'.
3. Scroll down and tap 'Manage Membership'.
4. Select 'End Membership' and follow the prompt to confirm.
5. You keep Uber One until the end of the current period (unless on a free trial or paused, which end immediately).

Cancel at least 48 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge; benefits continue to the end of the paid period. Free-trial/paused members lose benefits immediately on cancel.

Early-exit charge

None; charge is non-refundable once the billing cycle begins (except where local law requires, e.g. Japan gives a full refund if cancelled within 30 days with no benefits used). Cancel <24h before renewal may bill then auto-refund.
