How to cancel Tinder

Before you cancel

• There's no fixed contract, so you can cancel anytime. Your access simply runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
• Expect to be offered a retention discount or loyalty deal to make you stay. If you're sure you want to cancel, stand your ground.
• There may be a notice period, so you can be billed for a short while after you ask to leave. Cancel as early as you can.
• If you subscribed through Apple, Google or another provider, you must cancel with them, not Tinder directly.
• Get a confirmation (on-screen or by email) and keep it as proof of the date you cancelled.

How to cancel Tinder, step by step

1. Cancel on the platform you subscribed on, deleting the app does NOT stop billing. Check your order number: it starts with GPA for Google Play, MK for Apple.
2. If you paid on Tinder.com or via the Tinder web/Apple Pay checkout: sign in, go to 'Manage Payment Account', find the subscription and select 'Cancel Subscription'.
3. If Apple bills you: iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Tinder > Cancel (see below).
4. If Google Play bills you: Play Store > Subscriptions > Tinder > Cancel (see below).
5. You keep your paid features for the days already paid for; the cancellation stops future renewals.

Early-exit charge

None; generally NO refunds and no proration. An exception may apply within 14 days of the transaction, or where local law requires (e.g. certain EU/EEA/UK and some US states get a ~3-business-day cancel right). App-store purchases: refunds via Apple/Google only.
