How to cancel Mindful Chef

A clear, step-by-step guide to cancelling your Mindful Chef Food & Delivery, plus the things worth checking before you leave.

Before you cancel

  • There's no fixed contract, so you can cancel anytime. Your access simply runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Expect to be offered a retention discount or loyalty deal to make you stay. If you're sure you want to cancel, stand your ground.
  • There may be a notice period, so you can be billed for a short while after you ask to leave. Cancel as early as you can.
  • Cancel from the account you actually pay with, and make sure you're the billing owner before you start.
  • Get a confirmation (on-screen or by email) and keep it as proof of the date you cancelled.

How to cancel Mindful Chef, step by step

  1. Log in to your account and go to 'Preferences'.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Amend subscription'.
  3. Follow the prompts to cancel your subscription.
  4. Look for the orange 'Subscription deactivated' banner and a confirmation email, that is how you know it worked.
  5. If you've had fewer than 2 deliveries, you'll be asked to contact Customer Care to manage your account (020 3950 0455 / hello@mindfulchef.com).

Notice, fees & cooling-off

Notice period
Cancel/skip before midnight 4 days before delivery (e.g. Wednesday midnight for a Sunday delivery; Monday midnight for Thu/Fri delivery). Miss the cut-off and that week's box is charged.
Early-exit charge
None; no returns accepted. No refund once past the weekly cut-off.
