How to cancel Headspace

A clear, step-by-step guide to cancelling your Headspace Other, plus the things worth checking before you leave.

Before you cancel

There's no fixed contract, so you can cancel anytime. Your access simply runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
Expect to be offered a retention discount or loyalty deal to make you stay. If you're sure you want to cancel, stand your ground.
Cancel before your next renewal date to avoid being charged for another period.
If you subscribed through Apple, Google or another provider, you must cancel with them, not Headspace directly.
Get a confirmation (on-screen or by email) and keep it as proof of the date you cancelled.

Cancel on the platform you subscribed on (direct on headspace.com, or via Apple/Google if they bill you).
Web: sign in and go to headspace.com/subscription/manage, then click or tap 'Cancel Membership'.
If the 'Cancel Membership' link isn't there, email help@headspace.com and ask the team to cancel.
iPhone or iPad: Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Headspace > Cancel Subscription (see below).
Android: Play Store > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Headspace > Cancel subscription (see below).
You keep full access to Headspace for the rest of the current billing period.
