How to cancel Fitbit Premium

A clear, step-by-step guide to cancelling your Fitbit Premium Gym & Fitness, plus the things worth checking before you leave.

Before you cancel

There's no fixed contract, so you can cancel anytime. Your access simply runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
Expect to be offered a retention discount or loyalty deal to make you stay. If you're sure you want to cancel, stand your ground.
Cancel before your next renewal date to avoid being charged for another period.
If you subscribed through Apple, Google or another provider, you must cancel with them, not Fitbit Premium directly.
Always get your cancellation confirmed in writing and keep it.

Fitbit Premium is now Google Health Premium. In the Google Health app: tap your profile picture or initial (top right).
Tap 'Google Health Settings', then 'Google Health Premium', then 'Membership benefits'.
Tap 'Cancel membership' at the bottom. On mobile this sends you to your phone's app store subscription page if you bought it there.
If you bought it on the web: go to store.google.com/subscriptions, sign in with the Google Account you used to buy it, select the subscription, then under 'Payment method' click 'Cancel subscription' and confirm.
You keep Premium until the end of the current billing period.
