How to cancel Duolingo Super

Before you cancel

• There's no fixed contract, so you can cancel anytime. Your access simply runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
• Expect to be offered a retention discount or loyalty deal to make you stay. If you're sure you want to cancel, stand your ground.
• Cancel before your next renewal date to avoid being charged for another period.
• If you subscribed through Apple, Google or another provider, you must cancel with them, not Duolingo Super directly.
• Get a confirmation (on-screen or by email) and keep it as proof of the date you cancelled.

How to cancel Duolingo Super, step by step

1. Cancel on the same platform you subscribed on (web, Apple, or Google).
2. Web: go to duolingo.com, click your profile icon, open 'Settings', select the 'Subscription' tab, then click 'Cancel subscription' and confirm.
3. iOS: Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Duolingo > Cancel Subscription (see below).
4. Android: Play Store > profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Duolingo > Cancel subscription (see below).
5. Super features stay active until the end of the current billing period.
