How to cancel Apple TV+

Before you cancel

• There's no fixed contract, so you can cancel anytime. Your access simply runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
• Expect to be offered a retention discount or loyalty deal to make you stay. If you're sure you want to cancel, stand your ground.
• Cancel before your next renewal date to avoid being charged for another period.
• If you subscribed through Apple, Google or another provider, you must cancel with them, not Apple TV+ directly.
• Get a confirmation (on-screen or by email) and keep it as proof of the date you cancelled.

How to cancel Apple TV+, step by step

1. On iPhone/iPad: open the Settings app, tap your name, tap 'Subscriptions', tap Apple TV+, then 'Cancel Subscription' and confirm.
2. On the web: go to tv.apple.com, choose 'Sign In', choose the account icon at the top, choose 'Settings', scroll to Subscriptions and choose 'Manage', then 'Cancel Subscription'.
3. On Mac: open the App Store app, click your name, click 'Account Settings', then next to Subscriptions click 'Manage', then 'Edit' beside Apple TV+, then 'Cancel Subscription'.
4. Confirm. You keep access until the end of the current paid period.
