How to cancel Apple Arcade

Before you cancel

• There's no fixed contract, so you can cancel anytime. Your access simply runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
• Expect to be offered a retention discount or loyalty deal to make you stay. If you're sure you want to cancel, stand your ground.
• Cancel before your next renewal date to avoid being charged for another period.
• Cancel from the account you actually pay with, and make sure you're the billing owner before you start.
• Get a confirmation (on-screen or by email) and keep it as proof of the date you cancelled.

How to cancel Apple Arcade, step by step

1. On iPhone/iPad: open the Settings app, tap your name, then tap 'Subscriptions'.
2. Tap 'Apple Arcade' (scroll to find it if you have several subscriptions).
3. Tap 'Cancel Subscription' and confirm. If there is no Cancel button, the subscription is already cancelled.
4. On Mac: open the App Store app, click your name in the bottom-left, click 'Account Settings', then next to Subscriptions click 'Manage', then 'Edit' beside Apple Arcade, then 'Cancel Subscription'.
5. Note: once cancelled you lose access to all Arcade games at the end of the paid period, even games you downloaded.
