How to cancel Amazon Music Unlimited

A clear, step-by-step guide to cancelling your Amazon Music Unlimited Streaming, plus the things worth checking before you leave.

Before you cancel

There's no fixed contract, so you can cancel anytime. Your access simply runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
Expect to be offered a retention discount or loyalty deal to make you stay. If you're sure you want to cancel, stand your ground.
Cancel before your next renewal date to avoid being charged for another period.
If you subscribed through Apple, Google or another provider, you must cancel with them, not Amazon Music Unlimited directly.
Get a confirmation (on-screen or by email) and keep it as proof of the date you cancelled.

Sign in on your local Amazon site (amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, etc.), then open 'Your Amazon Music Settings'.
Go to the 'Amazon Music Unlimited' section.
In the Subscription Renewal details, select 'Cancel' and confirm.
You can keep listening until your current plan ends.
(App alternative: open the Amazon Music app, go to Settings, find Amazon Music Unlimited, and select Cancel. You can also say 'Alexa, cancel my Amazon Music Unlimited subscription' on an Alexa device.)
