How to cancel Adobe Creative Cloud
A clear, step-by-step guide to cancelling your Adobe Creative Cloud Software, plus the things worth checking before you leave.
Before you cancel
- You may be in a minimum contract, so leaving early can trigger an early-exit charge. Ask for the exact figure before you agree to anything.
- Expect to be offered a retention discount or loyalty deal to make you stay. If you're sure you want to cancel, stand your ground.
- Cancel before your next renewal date to avoid being charged for another period.
- If you subscribed through Apple, Google or another provider, you must cancel with them, not Adobe Creative Cloud directly.
- Get a confirmation (on-screen or by email) and keep it as proof of the date you cancelled.
How to cancel Adobe Creative Cloud, step by step
- Sign in at account.adobe.com and open the 'Plans' tab.
- Find the plan you want to cancel and select 'Manage plan', then 'Cancel your plan'.
- Work through the retention offers and select your reason for leaving.
- Review any early-termination fee shown for annual plans before confirming.
- Confirm cancellation. You'll get an email confirmation. (If self-serve fails, contact Adobe Customer Support by chat or phone to cancel.)
